The airplane flew for 3 hours, 39 minutes in Taiwan airspace. Modifications to the 747-400s, which are used to transport the large composite structures of the 787 Dreamliner, were performed by Evergreen Aviation Technologies Corp. in Taipei. “The entire Dreamlifter team should be very proud of this accomplishment,” said Carl Wiley, Dreamlifter operations manager in Taipei. The fourth Dreamlifter will enter service next month.
The fourth LCF, N718BA, arrives at Paine Field from Taipei February 9, 2010.
