Da Av Herald:
An ABX Air Boeing 767-200 freighter, registration N793AX performing freight flight GB-904 from Cincinnati,KY to Seattle Boeing Field,WA (USA), was on approach to Boeing Field's (BFI) runway 31L at about 06:45L (13:45Z) just about intercepting the localizer when residents at Southeast 231st Way at Kent neighbourhood, about 9nm southeast of the threshold BFI runway 31L at about the extended centerline of the runway, heard loud noise on the street and saw what appeared to be a sheet of metal sliding on the road until it came to rest short of a car. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on BFI's runway 31L, the crew employing just routine communication.
No other Boeing 767 was operating in and out of Seattle area at that time, 2 hours prior to about 1 hour past the occurrence time.
Residents reported a large cargo plane bound for Boeing Field was overflying their neighbourhood just before 07:00L, when the noise was heard from the street and the metal was seen sliding on the road.
The FAA confirmed the part was identified as a gear door off a Boeing 767. The aircraft had been identified, the FAA did not state the operator or aircraft identification however.

I computer sono incredibilmente veloci, accurati e stupidi.
Gli uomini sono incredibilmente lenti, inaccurati e intelligenti.
L'insieme dei due costituisce una forza incalcolabile.
If we all worked on the assumption that what is accepted as true is really true, there would be little hope of advance.
