Secondo i produttori l'elicottero europeo avrebbe ormai superato i problemi che lo affliggevano .....
Despite many program delays and customer criticisms, the pan-European NH-90 helicopter “is fit for purpose and doing real missions,” according to Vincent Dubrule, president of the NH Industries joint venture among Airbus Helicopters, AgustaWestland and Fokker.

NH Industries (NHI) has handed over the 200th NH90 helicopter – a TTH troop transport variant for the Belgian air component.
The aircraft was received at the service’s Beauvechain air base on 13 June.
It joins two other TTHs and a pair of naval NFH helicopters .....

Airbus Helicopters has defended the NH Industries NH90 military rotorcraft following recent criticism from both the Dutch and Australian governments, describing the issues they raise as "under control".
Deliveries to the Dutch armed forces of its remaining seven NH Industries (NHI) NH90 maritime helicopters – halted on the back of corrosion issues – are set to resume after the two sides hammered out a compromise agreement.
Efforts to improve the availability of the NH-90 helicopter are underway, according to Vincent Dubrule, president of NH Industries.
The European joint venture has now delivered 232 of the helicopters, nearly half of the total ordered by 13 countries.
Production has reached a “steady state” of approximately 50 per year.
The feedback from operators had been good, Dubrule told the International Military Helicopter Conference 2015 in London, organized by Defence IQ.
Germany has slapped a self-imposed temporary grounding order on its army’s fleet of NH Industries NH90 helicopters following the discovery a of “design flaw” with the aircraft’s electrical system.
Berlin says that all routine flights of its 10.6t rotorcraft have been “temporarily suspended” after Airbus Helicopters, which assembles the German troop transport helicopters at its Donauwörth facility, identified a fault with the NH90’s overhead control panel.
I Tedeschi pongono rimedio ..... sia pure a titolo provvisorio .....
Germany has come up with a set of temporary fixes to allow its army’s fleet of NH Industries NH90 troop transport helicopters to resume routine flights after it grounded the rotorcraft earlier this month.
The self-imposed restriction followed a June 2014 incident in Termez, Uzbekistan when an NH90 lost the majority of its electrical systems in the wake of an engine fire.
Germany has finally confirmed a deal that will see it order 18 new NH Industries NH90 NFH helicopters for its navy, while at the same time trimming commitments for the troop transport variant and Airbus Helicopters Tigers.
The deal for the naval NH90 – to be known as the Sea Lion in German service – is worth around €1.4 billion ($1.55 billion).
Despite well documented problems, Airbus Helicopters claims Australia’s MRH90 rotorcraft programme is beginning to emerge from its troubled beginnings and is showing increasing signs of maturity.
With the final aircraft from a 47-strong order on the production line of regional subsidiary Airbus Helicopters Asia Pacific (AHAP), ahead of delivery in mid-2017, the manufacturer says the platform is now "performing very well".
Fra qualche mese volerà in Germania il primo 'Leone Marino' .....
The German navy’s first NH Industries NTH90 Sea Lion rotorcraft is on schedule to make its flight debut in the fourth quarter of this year, as Airbus Helicopters prepares to bid the same type for another requirement for the operator.
Airbus Helicopters is on track to deliver another pair of NH Industries (NHI) NH90 TTH troop transports to Spain before the end of the year, adding to the three examples already handed over.
The first operational unit to receive the 11t rotorcraft, the Spanish army’s FAMET airmobile force, took delivery of two more TTHs on 14 September, adding to one that transferred to the brigade earlier in the month.
Un aggiornamento .....
Ha volato il secondo (di 18) NH90 Sea Lion destinato alla Marina tedesca .....
NH Industries on 24 November performed the maiden flight of the second prototype of the NH90 Sea Lion being developed for the German navy.
The milestone comes about a year after the initial flight-test vehicle took off from the Donauwörth facility of NHI consortium member Airbus Helicopters.
Australia ..... dopo tanti problemi ..... uno spiraglio di luce .....
Ten yers after taking delivery of its first NH Industries (NHI) NH-90 helicopters, the Australian Army is finally preparing to use them in the most demanding role.
Because of poor performance issues, the army unit that supports operations by the country’s special forces was obliged to retain its Sikorsky S-70 Black Hawks.
But now the 6th Aviation Regiment is planning to introduce the type - which is designated and named the MRH-90 Taipan in Australia - in 2019.
The Army is enjoying increased flying hours and reduced maintenance hours on the type in 2017.
