cercando ho trovato una "info" (è presa da wikipedia) a riguardo:

In June 2009, the Air France-KLM group confirmed the purchase of 7 further Embraer 190 jets to begin delivery in the first part of 2010. The additional order of Embraer aircraft and the transfer of Fokker 70 aircraft from Air France regional in 2009 will allow KLM cityhopper to phase out its Fokker 50 fleet.
Delievery of the further 7 Embraer aircraft will begin in the early part of 2010 and be complete by July.
All Fokker 100 and Embraer 190 aircraft are configured to 100 Seats, allowing a more economical 2 Cabin crew operation.
KLM cityhopper has announced the last Fokker 50 flight will be on 28 March 2010 as the winter timetable ends, both Fokker 70 & Embraer 190 aicraft will be deployed onto the types former route network.

Anche se il Fokker 50 magari non ti piace, ti assicuro che è stato uno degli aerei meglio riusciti tecnicamente nel mondo dell' aviazione!

Sono daccordo con voi anche se almeno altre cinque importanti compagnie europee lo hanno abbandonato da tempo: Austrian, Iberia e Aer Lingus, Luxair, Scandinavian.

Da quello che sò, almeno in Europa rimangono ad utlilizzarlo la Flugfelag/Air Iceland, la Baltic, la Denim Air e la nostra Miniliner in versione cargo

IN MAY 2009 VLM AIRLINES ANNOUNCED THAT IT WAS PLANNING A PROCESS OF RE-BRANDING TO INTRODUCE the CityJet identity across the entire network. That process is now well under way, and one of the clearest changes took place at the end of August, when the first of our Fokker 50 aircraft received a facelift to incorporate the CityJet colours and logo. In the course of the coming months the rest of the fleet will also receive the new CityJet livery, so watch out for our new-look aircraft as you’re on your travels.
