This internship takes place as part of the aircraft designed research project "Green Freighter" on unconventional cargo aircraft with alterantive propulsion systems. One aspect of this research project is the invesitigation of liquid hydrogen as fuel. The internship takes place in Hamburg as Bishop GmbH and at Airbus GmbH. Place of work will be at both company locations. The intern shall understake a literature rview based on published literature and research results from previous Airbus projects. The work shall include:
- description of different hydogen fuel systems and system components
- technical challenges stemming from hydrogen fuel systems and possible systems and solutions
- means to qualtify the mass and volume required for different components
