BOEING E DARPA COLLABORANO PER PROGETTARE E REALIZZARE UN NUOVO EXPERIMENTAL SPACEPLANE
Boeing e l’ U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) collaborano per progettare, costruire e testare un technology demonstration vehicle per l’Experimental Spaceplane (XS-1) program. Boeing svilupperà uno spaceplane autonomo e riutilizzabile, in grado di trasportare un piccolo upper stage per lanciare piccoli satelliti (3.000 libbre / 1.361 kg) in low Earth orbit.
