Pratt & Whitney ha consegnato il primo motore PurePower PW1400G-JM a Irkut Corporation. Il motore PW1400G-JM è stato assemblato e testato presso il Pratt & Whitney West Palm Beach Engine Center situato in Florida, prima di essere spedito a Irkutsk, in Russia.
